A-WON HandCycles was created seven years ago. The purpose of A-WON HandCycles is to build low-cost handcycles for people who don't have the financial means to pay for the costly handcycles that are currently on the market. It provides would-be cyclists the opportunity to join the cycling crowd on an affordable, well-built handcycle. Each bike is built according to the individual specifications and the needs of the rider. In this sense, each bike is unique to all others. The frames are lighter than any on the market. This makes it faster for those interested in racing. It also makes it easier to manuver for those concerned about lifting weight.
Alejandro created the design and rides on an A-WON HandCycle in all his racing events. His design has proven to be the best as he has won countless championships on his A-WON HandCycle, including a silver medal at the 2004 Athens Paralympic Games.
